Acceptance of Terms
By using newjob.ng, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, both job seekers and employers.
The Platform is Free
Newjob.ng is completely free for job seekers and verified employers. We will never charge you to search for jobs, apply for jobs, post jobs, or contact other users. Our revenue comes from advertising.
No Payment Requests, Ever
Employers must never ask job seekers for payment of any kind. This includes registration fees, training fees, uniform fees, or processing fees. Any employer requesting payment will be permanently banned and reported.
Employer Verification
All employers must verify their business with a valid CAC registration number before posting jobs. Providing false information results in immediate removal from the platform.
Honest Listings
Job posts must be genuine, accurate, and for real positions. Misleading salaries, fake jobs, and bait listings are prohibited. Every post is scanned by AI before going live.
User Conduct
All users must communicate respectfully through the platform. Harassment, discrimination, and abusive behaviour are not tolerated and will result in account removal.
Your Content
You keep ownership of your CV, profile, and any content you upload. By uploading, you grant newjob.ng permission to display it to relevant verified employers in line with our Privacy Policy.
CV Protection
CV data accessed through newjob.ng may only be used for legitimate recruitment. Harvesting CVs, scraping data, or contacting users outside the platform is strictly prohibited.
We Are Not a Recruitment Agency
Newjob.ng provides a platform that connects job seekers and employers. We are not party to any employment relationship and do not guarantee any job or hire.
Account Removal
We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms, with or without notice, in order to keep the platform safe for everyone.
Reporting Abuse
If you encounter a scam, fake job, or payment request, report it immediately to report@newjob.ng. We investigate all reports as promptly as possible.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
