Who May Post Jobs
Only employers approved through the platform’s CAC verification process may submit jobs for publication. Verification reduces impersonation risk but is not a guarantee of an employer’s conduct.
Job Listing Standards
- Describe a genuine, currently available role.
- State the employer, location, responsibilities and employment terms accurately.
- Do not use misleading salaries, false urgency, bait listings or pyramid recruitment.
- Do not request payment, deposits, purchases or paid training from job seekers.
Protected Applicant Data
Applicant contact details, home addresses and private CV files must not be requested, reconstructed, harvested or shared. Employers may use the professional information shown in the protected application profile only for legitimate recruitment.
Safe Messaging
- Keep conversations about the role, interview and employment terms.
- Do not request money, bank details, BVN, passwords or authentication codes.
- Do not attempt to disguise phone numbers, email addresses or off-platform links.
- Harassment, discrimination, threats and bulk unsolicited messages are prohibited.
Reports and Review
Job seekers can report a listing or protected conversation. Reports identify the related item so administrators can inspect it. Automated checks may block content immediately, while administrators make moderation and account decisions.
Enforcement
Depending on the evidence and severity, newjob.ng may warn a user, hold or remove content, restrict messaging, suspend an account or permanently remove access. Serious payment requests, fraud or repeated evasion may lead to immediate removal.
Appeals and Corrections
If you believe a moderation decision was incorrect, contact report@newjob.ng with the relevant job, application or report reference. Do not include passwords, verification codes or unnecessary personal data.
